Here at Brio we aim to share a glimpse of our daily lives with our patients. We share health tips and recipes and products we love. And today I am happy to announce that I have some extra special news to share.

2018 marks my 10 years at Brio — I can’t believe it — time flies!  I have been constantly challenged in this position and continually added different hats to my job.

From receptionist to office manager, to maintaining and posting on our social media, to launching and facilitating Healthy Living 101, there have been many new challenges I have been eager to face.  I have celebrated multiple awards including Best Customer Service of Richmond from our amazing patients.

Throughout my 10 years at Brio I have also had some very special milestones occur in my personal life. My partner, Collin, and I purchased our first home, got engaged on Christmas Eve and were able to host a beautiful wedding for our family and friends.

However the beginning of 2018 has brought me my most exciting news yet…Collin and I found out our family is expanding and will be welcoming a baby in October!  We have been together over ten years so this was always part of the plan, however it was such a blessing to receive the news. We have chosen to keep the gender of the baby a surprise, which shockingly we’ve LOVED. For us it hasn’t really changed our planning, perhaps the colours are more gender neutral, but we will have fun playing with those little details once the baby arrives. We want to acknowledge what a blessing this baby is, and appreciate that it is not always easy to conceive. This truly is a gift and we cant wait to meet our new addition!

I’m so happy to be able to share this news with my Brio family who have been with me for the last ten years and look forward to sharing the next chapter of my journey with you!
